What I Learned Throughout 19 Years of School

I’m old. I mean, on May 12th I graduated college, which means I must be old, right? And being old in turn makes me wise. That’s just the way it is. I don’t make the rules.

No, but seriously. Nineteen years came and went, and I know that I learned so many life lessons along the way. So, I wanted to share those lessons with you now. These won’t be things I learned in class, though. These are the lessons I learned during the moments in between. In my time with friends and teachers. Some of these will be inside jokes, but most of them are applicable to all.

So here it is. What I learned throughout nineteen years of school:

31 Days of NaNoWriMo Prep: Day 28 – Looking Back at the Fourth Week of Preptober

You guyyyysssss, this is it! The final four days of October are upon us!!! In just a few days we’ll be digging in and writing 50,000 words in 30 days, which I feel pretty confident won’t be nearly as difficult as writing, filming, and editing 31 posts/videos in 31 days. Just saying. It’ll probably be a breeze, one that I’m so looking forward to after this month of hellish craziness. Do I regret taking on this challenge? No. Am I glad it’ll be over? Hell yes.

31 Days of NaNoWriMo Prep: Day 21 – Looking Back at the Third Week of Preptober

I seriously cannot believe that it’s already Day 21 of “31 Days of NaNoWriMo Prep”. It seems like only yesterday I was writing out the first post for this series, and now there’s only ten days left until it’s over. I’m mostly sad, because this has been such a fun experience, but I won’t lie. Part of me is relieved that I’ll (hopefully) have a bunch of free time once I don’t have to write, film, and edit every day.

31 Days of NaNoWriMo Prep: Day 14 – Looking Back at the Second Week of Preptober

Whew. This has been a week. Between school and homework, writing these blog posts and filming/editing the corresponding YouTube videos, sending the first three chapters of my soon-to-be debut novel The Caspian Chronicles: The Forbidden Prophecy to my beta readers, outlining book two of The Caspian Chronicles for Preptober, going to see the YouTuber Markiplier live on tour, and having some semblance of a social life, I’ve been through a lot. In fact, on Thursday I broke down from all the stress and had a good cry. On the bright side, though, I’m feeling a lot better now, and I’m remaining optimistic as I make my way into the second half of this month.

31 Days of NaNoWriMo Prep: Day 7 – Looking Back at the First Week of Preptober

Yeah, in case any of you guys weren’t aware, this month is actually called “Preptober” by those in the NaNoWriMo community. I technically could’ve called this series “31 Days of Preptober”, but… Eh, it doesn’t have the same ring to it. So, welcome to Day 7 of “31 Days of NaNoWriMo Prep”! This post is going to be different from the others I’ve done so far in this series because today isn’t about teaching you something new about writing, but, instead, catching you up on where I am in the prepping process!
