Yep, you read that right! I’m officially open for business!
It’s funny. I never really knew that writing commissions were a thing. I mean, it makes sense. If you can commission someone to make art for you or write you a song, then why shouldn’t you be able to commission someone to write some literature for you? Nevertheless, I was shocked when the first person contacted me about a commission. I was like, Is this real? Someone likes my writing enough to pay me to write some fanfiction for them? Honestly, though, it’s a dream come true. I mean, that’s the goal for us as writers, right? To be paid to do what we love?
So, in light of the sudden demand for my work (which I’m still trying to wrap my mind around, to be honest), I’ve added a commissions page to this blog! If you’re looking to hire me to either write fanfiction or original fiction for you, go to the ‘Commissions’ tab at the top of the page (or just click here). There, you’ll find my pricing, guidelines, and instructions on how to contact me.
I really hope that this is a step in the right direction for my writing career. If you would like to check out some of the fanfiction I’ve written in the past, you can find my list of works here. Please note that some of the things I write are NSFW, so check the tags before you go clicking into any old story.
To any writers that may follow me: What is you opinion on writing commissions? Do you do them, or avoid them? I’d love to know what you think! After all, I’m still pretty new to the world of commissions. But, personally, I think it’s pretty awesome.
